     I
praise the Lord for whatever He has given us, and whoever we are now. I would like to share some stories regarding what I am doing here in Manila. I am holding a clinic four days a week with 60 to 75 patients per day.  I treat all kinds of patients especially the infertility patients.

There is a lot of fun and also challenges in seeing patients; it is definitely easier for the younger ones to get pregnant than for the older patients.  Every pregnant patient has her own story in their treatment process.
One day, I was doing acupuncture for a patient and  all of a sudden, I heard some noise from another cubicle. It sounded like someone was moving the stepping stool which I put under each patient  bed.  I was the only one who was moving around at that moment. The patients were lying in bed with  treatment needles and I did not notice anyone else come in.  I saw my patient, an elder  Sister, already  up from the bed with all the needles and burning moxa on her tummy. I asked her “Sister, where are you going?” She said “I am late for mass.”  She was sleepwalking.

Margarita, 38 years old, got pregnant after 4-5 months treatment and still continued her treatments 1-2 times a week. She had her first ultrasound around 5-6 weeks of her pregnancy.  One day,  her husband came with her and said in a childlike tone: “Sister,
there is only one”. In the beginning, I couldn’t understa
nd what he was talking about.  Then he explained that the ultrasound showed there is only one baby. ..(old ultrasound ) …the baby is already 2 years old now. She started her acupuncture again this month, to try to have another baby.

This lady was referred to me by another doctor when she was five months pregnancy with complete placenta previa. This baby is the first who was born successfully in the Philippines in a water birth.
